These are the TERMS & CONDITIONS that will apply to all services and goods supplied to you by Fix My Tech. These TERMS & CONDITIONS include exclusions and disclaimers in respect to Liability and losses arising from the goods and services supplied by Fix My Tech.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
We reserve the right, to refuse to supply goods or services at our discretion.
We cannot accept any responsibility for any web site not under the control of Fix My Tech, which may act as a portal, or provide Hypertext links to and from our site.
All parts supplied by Fix My Tech are brand new, unless requested by the Customer. Brand new parts will come with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, starting from the date the item was purchased by Fix My Tech.
Fix My Tech reserves the right to change the fixed prices once a consultation has been completed, and an agreement has been reached with the customer as the afflictions can differ from one PC to another.
Fix My Tech reserves the right to change these conditions at anytime without notice.
2. Legal Rights
The customer is the legal owner or authorized representative of the legal owner of the property and all data and components contained therein.
3. Limited Liability
Damage to a system or its components, supplied by Fix My Tech, caused by power surges or spikes, including but not limited to, mains power and telecommunications connections, or to other unspecified sources, voltage fluctuation, amperage fluctuation, rust or corrosion, are not covered under warranty.
Warranties do not cover loss or damage due to negligence, accidents, theft, earthquakes, flood, fire, electrical storms.
You will only own the goods once we have received payment in full. Payment is due in full upon completion of the goods and services being delivered. Payment methods accepted are Cash, PayPal, Credit via Paypal and Direct Bank Deposit. Please pay on time.
The warranty on any hardware will be voided if any of the manufacturers sticker placed on the warrantable equipment is found to have been removed or tampered with in any way.
Fix My Tech reserves the right to suspend or cancel warranties for failure to pay monies owing to Fix My Tech as a result of non-warranty work being carried out on a system at the request of the warranty holder.
All work is covered by a labour only 30 day warranty. If the same problem re-occurs within 30 days of the original repair which will be found on the invoice, Fix My Tech will only charge for any additional parts that may be required. This will exclude faults caused by software, malware and end user error.
Any repairs conducted on an item under warranty whereby no fault can be found, or the fault is not covered under warranty (software, malware, end user error or other non-warranty cause herein stated) a ‘No Fault Found’ fee may be payable by the warranty holder at the usual hourly rate.
6. Special Offers
Promotional discounts and special offers only apply to our services and not too any hardrware or software purchased through Fix My Tech.
Customers shall be responsible for backing up all data stored in the products to be repaired and remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, DVDs.
Fix My Tech will not be liable for any damage caused to other equipment by Goods supplied.
Fix My Tech have permission from the customer to replace assemblies or components with devices of similar, or better, design and capability.
The customer understands and accepts that some applications may no longer work properly after a repair, due to the installation of different hardware or software. It is the customer’s responsibility to reconfigure or reinstall any such applications unless it has been pre-arranged with Fix My Tech.
Fix My Tech have permission from the customer to carry out the work on the equipment in need of repair.
(Please note that you must give 24 hours notice of cancelling a booking, otherwise a cancellation fee of $25 will be charged.)
